Exercising your right to vote is as easy as 1, 2, or 3

Mail in ballot (formerly known as Absentee) Complete the Mail-in Ballot Application and check one of the following options: Permanent Mail-in Ballot Option You will receive a ballot until: You cancel your permanent request A mail-in ballot is returned to the clerk’s office as undeliverable You fail to vote in a general election This Year Only Mail-in Ballot Option Deadlines: Request a ballot to be mailed no later than Tuesday before the election, 10/26/10 Pick up a mail-in ballot in person by 5 p.m. Friday before the election, 10/29/10 Return your voted mail-in ballot to the Garfield County Clerk’s

Voters with permanent mail-in status and voters who have already requested a mail-in ballot just for the November 2 general election should receive their ballots this week. All of these ballots were placed in the mail stream on Tuesday, October 12. If mail-in voters have not received their ballots by Monday, October 18, 2010, please contact the Garfield County Clerk’s Office at 384-3700, Option 2.
