Safe teens
Colorado Department of Transportation provides online resource for parents on teen driving laws
Parents play a key role in keeping their teens safe on the road. In a recent statewide survey of parents of teens, only 6.4 percent of parents could accurately describe Graduated Drivers Licensing (GDL) laws.
Learn how to teach teens safe driving practices and how to follow Colorado GDL laws by completing the Parent Graduated Driver’s Licensing Laws Online Course. The three modules walk parents through navigating the licensing process, teaching teens how to drive, and enforcing safe driving practices at home by using a parent/teen driving contract. Go to www.COTeenDriver.com to access the Parent Online Course at the top of the page.
