Managing small business staff needs for COVID-19 Free online discussion is open to all local businesses

GARFIELD COUNTY, CO – Local business owners and representatives are invited to an online meeting discussing methods for navigating employee and human resource operations during the COVID-19 outbreak. The meeting takes place on Zoom this Friday, July 31, from 11 to 11:45 a.m. Volunteer speakers are Jessica Junker, senior HR consultant, PHR, SHRM-CP with Cura HR, and Joshua Williams, Garfield County Public Health environmental health director.

The discussion covers statewide mask ordinances, Senate Bill 205 (sick leave for employers), current public health orders in Garfield County, steps businesses can take if an employee tests positive for COVID-19, how to obtain testing and more.
