1. Mail in ballot (formerly known as Absentee)
Complete the Mail-in Ballot Application and check one of the following options:
Permanent Mail-in Ballot Option
You will receive a ballot until:
You cancel your permanent request
A mail-in ballot is returned to the clerk’s office as undeliverable
You fail to vote in a general election
This Year Only Mail-in Ballot Option
Deadlines:
Request a ballot to be mailed no later than Tuesday before the election, 10/26/10
Pick up a mail-in ballot in person by 5 p.m. Friday before the election, 10/29/10
Return your voted mail-in ballot to the Garfield County Clerk’s Office in Glenwood Springs or the branch office in Rifle.
Other drop-off locations:
Carbondale Town Hall, New Castle Town Hall, Silt Town Hall, Parachute Town Hall
New this year! Drop it off at any polling place in the county on election day from 7 am – 7 pm.

2. Early voting October 18 – October 29, 2010
Early voting is available in both Glenwood Springs and Rifle during the hours of 8:30 am – 5 pm at both locations listed below:
Glenwood Springs Courthouse – 109 8th Street, Room 200
Human Services Building in Rifle – 195 West 14th Street
NOTE: We have extended early voting hours October 26, 27, 28 from 8:30 am – 7 pm
OR
3. Vote at your polling place November 2 – Election Day
Tuesday, November 2, 2010 from 7 am – 7 pm
