Ballots mailed to all active Garfield County voters

Garfield County has mailed 36,618 ballots for the 2022 General Election to all active registered voters. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 8; voters who haven’t received their ballots by Oct. 24 should check their registration information at www.govotecolorado.gov.

It is recommended that any voters who are returning ballots by mail do so no later than Nov. 1. Ballot drop-boxes are available beginning on Oct. 18 (87 percent of ballots in the June Primary Election were returned via drop boxes). Early voting is available at the community center in Glenwood Springs and Garfield County Fairgrounds in Rifle (South Hall) beginning on Oct. 24.

Ballots must be received by 7 p.m. on Election Day to be counted. The deadline to request a ballot by mail is Oct. 31. Please contact Garfield County Elections at 970-384-3700, option 2, with questions.
