Ballots mailed for Nov. 7 Coordinated Election
Garfield County sent 37,500 ballots to registered voters on Oct. 17

Garfield County has mailed 37,500 ballots to registered voters for the Tuesday, Nov. 7, Coordinated Election. Ballots were mailed to all military and overseas voters on Sept. 22. All returned ballots must be received by the Garfield County Clerk and Recorder’s Office or a designated drop box by 7 p.m. on Election Day to be counted – postmarks do not count.
Voter Service and Polling Centers (VSPCs) are available in Carbondale, Glenwood Springs, Rifle, and Parachute on Election Day, and 24/7 ballot drop boxes are now in place in every municipality in Garfield County. Early voting begins Monday, Oct. 30 and runs through Monday, Nov. 6, at the Glenwood Springs Community Center and the South Hall of the Garfield County Fairgrounds in Rifle.
If returning your ballot by mail, make sure to affix a $0.66 first-class stamp and it’s recommended to mail no later than Monday, Oct. 30. If you haven’t received your ballot by Oct. 25, make sure your voter registration information is correct at www.govotecolorado.gov – you can also check your mail ballot status, view sample ballots, and update personal information at Go Vote Colorado.
