Fourmile Road to be closed above snowmobile parking area

Beginning Feb. 14, Forest Service Road 300 (Fourmile Road) will be closed above the snowmobile trailer parking area while an aspen regeneration project is underway on the north side of Williams Peak. The closure includes the 90-acre treatment area.
A contractor will be cutting aspen larger than 4-inches in diameter across 90 acres on the south side of Fourmile Road above the snowmobile parking area. Between five and 15 large trucks a day will be traveling down the road from the treatment area Monday through Friday.
