Earth Day poster contest winners
The Garfield County Landfill received some amazing submissions for this year’s Earth Day poster contest. The designs were all very creative and well-thought-out. The grand prize winning artist, Erilla Mojario Sanchez, a sixth-grader at Glenwood Middle School, received a $100 gift card. Other winning contestants received framed copies of their art work, as well as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ribbons.
The contest was open to area students, Kindergarten through 12th grade. The theme of the three R’s, reduce, reuse, and recycle, helped spread awareness of Earth Day. Garfield County Landfill thanks all participants for submitting such vibrant artwork. Great job everyone!
