The Garfield County Planning Commission will hold a remote Public Hearing on Wednesday, December 9 at 6:00pm for the continuation of a Text Amendment request to amend the Garfield County Land Use and Development Code of 2013 as amended, including but not limited to Article 3 Zoning; Article 4 Application and Review Procedures; Article 5 Divisions of Land; Article 7 Standards; Article 8 Affordable Housing; and Article 15 Definitions in regard to the following: Sketch Plan, Deviation from Dimensional Standards, Industrial Use Standards, Agritourism, Wineries, Breweries, Cideries, and Distilleries, Condominium Regulations, Affordable Housing Regulations, Small Camping Facilities, Solar Regulations, and Grading Regulations.

The Garfield County Planning Commission meets every second Wednesday of the month. As necessary, the fourth Wednesday of the month also serves as an alternate meeting date. Commission meetings typically commence at 6 p.m., and are held in the commissioner’s meeting room, Room 100, in the Garfield County Administration building in Glenwood Springs.
