Useful Public Service

Coordination of court-ordered community service through supervised work crews or through assigned community service placement with non-profit agencies. Qualifying agencies must possess a 501(c)(3) Colorado state tax exempt certificate.

Fee: $80 fee for 24 hours or less of Community Service, $120 fee for 25 hours or more of Community Service.

Location: Designated work sites

Terms: Offender must report as ordered

Organization requirement

To have your non-profit organization considered to have Useful Public Service clients placed in a work environment, your organization must hold a current non-profit certificate 501(c)(3).

Also,

1. Your organization must be within Garfield County.
2. Your organization may be inspected to meet further requirements at Garfield County Community Corrections discretion.
