Please note: Recording information from June 30, 1982 forward is posted on this website. Images are not available on the website.

Earlier images from 1989 to today are available on the county's public computer. You can view micro-fiche from September 12, 1975 to 1988 in our office at the Garfield County Courthouse, in room 200.  We also have records in historical books dating from 1883 to 1975.

Duties of the Clerk and Recorder's office
The Clerk & Recorder's office is responsible for voter registration, the conducting of all primary, general, and November coordinated elections, motor vehicle titling and registration, real estate and other recordings, marriage licenses, birth and death records, liquor licenses and recording the proceedings of the Board of County Commissioners.

Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 5 pm, excluding holidays.
