Shutdown affects food benefits for Colorado families
February SNAP Benefits paid in January - no payments in February
Due to the continuing partial federal government shutdown, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the State of Colorado have released February SNAP benefits early to most recipients. These funds are intended to help clients with their February food purchases. No additional SNAP benefits will be allotted in February.

WIC benefits are available to Colorado families despite the federal government shutdown. Colorado WIC offices will remain open until further notice.

Alternating one-way traffic on 27th Street Bridge
Periodic holds for construction access are also planned. Drivers should prepare for delays at 27th Street, S. Grand Avenue and on Atkinson Trail beginning Jan. 15.
