Public comments being taken on EIS for BLM Colorado River Valley management plan

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Upper Colorado River District is pleased to announce that the Notice of Intent (NOI) to prepare a Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement for the Colorado River Valley Field Office and Grand Junction Field Office Resource Management Plans, Colorado has been published in the Federal Register.

Publication of the NOI initiates a 30-day public scoping period.

Scoping comments may be submitted through the BLM’s ePlanning project webpage. Comments may also be sent to the BLM Upper Colorado River District. (Attn: BLM Upper Colorado River District SEIS 2815 H Road, Grand Junction, Colorado 81506).

The BLM is also hosting virtual public scoping meetings approximately 15 days after publication of the NOI. The BLM will announce the meeting dates on the ePlanning project website (go usa link above) and in scoping letters sent to organizations and individuals on the project mailing list.
