Garfield County Board of County Commissioners Work Session

SG Interests has oil and gas leases in the Thompson Divide area of the White River National Forest. SG Interests has recently submitted drilling permit applications through the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (COGCC), the U.S. Forest Service, and Bureau and Land Management (BLM) for sites in Garfield County and Pitkin County.

The Garfield County Board of County Commissioners will host a Work Session at 9 am, February 5, 2013, to review and discuss SG Interests proposed oil and gas development plans, and to begin identifying and addressing concerns and issues related to proposed municipal and county road access routes and other social and environmental topics.

Representatives from SG Interests, the U.S. Forest Service, the BLM and the COGCC will be on hand to discuss the proposed development plans and the permit application review process, including opportunities for local governments and the public to comment on the permit applications.
