GARFIELD COUNTY, CO – Grammy-nominated country artist Midland brings its electrifying live show to Rifle for the 80th annual Garfield County Fair and Rodeo.

Midland will be the special guest at the fair’s concert on Friday, August 3, at the Garfield County Fairgrounds. Tickets go on sale June 1, and the headlining act will be announced in two weeks.

Midland (singer Mark Wystrach, guitarist Cameron Duddy, and bassist Jess Carson) first came together at Duddy’s wedding in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where the three members ended up jamming on stage at the rehearsal dinner.

“It was this serendipitous chain of events,” Wystrach said in the band’s bio. “And it was the best week ever. By the end, we knew the three of us had amazing chemistry.”

Midland was recently honored with a Grammy nomination for Best Country Duo/Group Performance, and Best Country Song for their hit, “Drinkin’ Problem.”

Their debut album, “On the Rocks,” is made for wide-open skies, endless deserts, and wondering where the road is going to take you next.
