Electronic waste collection events
The Garfield County Landfill has provided an Electronic Recycling Program to the citizens of Garfield County for several years. In order to maintain and continue this event, it has become necessary to incorporate a fee structure to sustain this service. After June 1, 2011, the following fee structure will be charged for electronic waste:

• Televisions:
     Small $10 (up to 15”)
     Medium $20 (15” to 32”)
     Large $30 (larger than 32”)
• PC’s $10
• CRT monitors $10
• Laptops & flat screen monitors $5
• Printers & faxes $3
• Large copiers $50
• Misc cords, keyboards, mouse items will be accepted free of charge
  
  

Garfield County citizens may drop off e-waste at these locations:

West Garfield County Landfill, 0075 CR 246A, Rifle | map
9 am - 4 pm anytime during regular business hours

Road and Bridge District 1 shop, 7300 Highway 82, Glenwood Springs
1 pm - 3 pm on the second Thursday of each month
Directions: exit Highway 82 at CMC turnoff, turn right onto east side frontage road towards the Aspen direction, and follow to the end for the Road and Bridge yard.
