Landfill Overview:
West Garfield County Landfill is a nonhazardous solid waste disposal facility. The Landfill has policies in place to ensure the safe and efficient operation of Landfill functions. Fees are based upon weight with the exceptions of certain items that are charged individually.
Location:
The Landfill is located between Rifle and Rulison Colroado.

At the West Rifle exit proceed to Hwy 6 West, approximaely 3.5 miles

At the Rulison exit proceed to Hwy 6 East approximately 2 miles

From Hwy 6 turn North onto Anvil Point Rd (County Rd 246)

Proceed North on AnvilPoint Rd for approximately 1 mile

Turn East (on first paved rd)
Hours of Operation:
Winter: Monday through Saturday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Summer: Sunday through Saturday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Landfill hours change in accordance with daylight savings time
Customers are required to be unloaded by 4:00 pm.
The Landfill will be closed on Garfield County designated Holidays.
