Useful Public Service
Coordination of court-ordered community service through supervised work crews or through assigned community service placement with non-profit agencies. Qualifying agencies must possess a 501(c)(3) Colorado state tax exempt certificate.
Fee: $80 flat fee
Location: Designated work sites
Terms: Offender must report as ordered
Organization requirement
To have your non-profit organization considered to have Useful Public Service clients placed in a work environment, your organization must hold a current non-profit certificate 501(c)(3).
Also,
- Your organization must be within Garfield County.
- Your organization may be inspected to meet further requirements at Garfield County Community Corrections discretion.
