Swimming area closes at Harvey Gap
Colorado Parks and Wildlife closed the swimming area at Harvey Gap State Park due to low water and after weekly water testing found elevated concentrations of the bacteria E. coli. Recent park visitors should be aware of risks.

The White River National Forest, Aspen-Sopris Ranger District has closed all camping around Crater Lake in the Maroon Bells Wilderness until further notice. During mid-summer, bears use the forest in the vicinity of Crater Lake.
